Privacy, cookies & analytics
Your learning account
SecNet Academy stores your account, course progress, mission decisions, exam results and certificates in its independent database to provide learning services. Authorized administrators manage content, accounts and security records. Certificate verification displays only the learner display name, course, issue date, serial and status.
Essential storage
Secure session cookies support sign-in. Language and appearance preferences support your chosen experience. Public request counters do not use browser tracking storage.
Device notifications
Only when you enable notifications, __Host-secnet-push-device binds this browser to your account for up to 90 days. It is a Secure, HttpOnly device setting, not an analytics identifier. Subscription endpoints and encryption keys are stored in this Academy database. Delivery uses your browser provider (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft); message contents and your identity are not included in push payloads. Turn notifications off on /install or in device settings. Logout or sign-in as a different account removes the browser binding; signing in again as the same account preserves the preference. Pending/delivered push records are purged after two days and inactive subscriptions after 90 days.
Cookie-free traffic statistics
Cookie-free traffic reports count public page views as hourly aggregates, separately by fixed page/source category, approximate country and device type. IP addresses are processed transiently against the local DB-IP database to estimate country; raw IPs, user agents, referring addresses, URL queries, names, emails and account IDs are not stored in the analytics table. No tracking cookie, persistent visitor ID, fingerprint or session recording is created. Reports cover the last 90 days; older aggregates are removed on the next measurement. DNT/GPC signals and known bots are excluded; private account and lesson/exam routes are not tracked. Counts are not unique people or sessions; refreshes and unrecognized automation may count. Each site keeps aggregates in its own separate database. Existing security/operational logs serve separate purposes.
